The City of Mabton is fortunate to have numerous grants/loans funded infrastructure improvement projects occurring in 2016. This public notification is sharing information with our citizenry notifying you of the following capital improvement projects in your City, when they will be occurring and the approximate duration of each project.
- Safe Routes To Schools Project
Location: South Street from Main Street East
Project Timeline: August and September 2016
- South Street and Boundary Road improvement Project
Project Timeline: August thru October 2016
- B Street Improvement Project (from Boundary Road to the High School)
Project Timeline: August to October 2016
- Well No. 6 Project
On South Street between Boundary Road and Main Street
Project Timeline: June thru mid-October 2016
- Water Mains Project
Monroe Avenue, South Street, Alley between 1st and 2nd Ave, Alley between 3rd and 4th Ave, North 6th Street, 2nd Street between Cedar St and Pine St, Pine St, and Alley Between Maple Street and Pine Street.
Project Timeline: June thru September 2016
Thank you for your patience while the City of Mabton makes these needed infrastructure improvements to our community. Please see attached Map for details.
Public Notice
Please assist the city by conserving water during the hot summer months. If your residence has an EVEN number (ex: 222 North 6th Street) then only water your lawn/exterior landscaping on EVEN number days of the month (ex: July 10, 12, 14, etc.).
If your residence has an ODD number (ex: 123 South 3rd Street) then only water your lawn/exterior landscaping on ODD number days of the month (ex: July 11, 13, 15, etc.).
