⚠️ PRECAUTIONARY WATER BOIL NOTICE ⚠️
The City of Mabton has issued a Precautionary Water Boil Notice due to a motor failure at Well 4.
As a precaution, the Washington State Department of Health has been notified and has recommended that this notice be issued while repairs are being completed.
Estimated Duration: 1–2 weeks
What You Should Do
- Boil tap water for at least one (1) minute before using it for drinking, making ice, brushing your teeth, preparing food, or washing fruits and vegetables.
- Water may continue to be used for bathing, showering, laundry, and other household purposes.
Please Note
This is a precautionary notice. There is no confirmed contamination of the water system at this time. This notice is being issued out of an abundance of caution while repairs are completed and the water system continues to be monitored.
Updates will be provided daily at 12:00 p.m. on the City of Mabton's Facebook page and website.

La Ciudad de Mabton ha emitido un Aviso Preventivo de Hervir el Agua debido a una falla en el motor del Pozo No. 4.
Como medida de precaución, el Departamento de Salud del Estado de Washington ha sido notificado y ha recomendado la emisión de este aviso mientras se realizan las reparaciones correspondientes.
Duración estimada: 1 a 2 semanas
¿Qué debe hacer?
- Hierva el agua de la llave durante al menos un (1) minuto antes de usarla para beber, hacer hielo, cepillarse los dientes, preparar alimentos o lavar frutas y verduras.
- El agua puede seguir utilizándose para bañarse, ducharse, lavar ropa y otras actividades del hogar.

Este es un aviso preventivo. No existe contaminación confirmada en el sistema de agua en este momento. Este aviso se emite únicamente como medida de precaución mientras se completa la reparación y se continúa monitoreando la calidad del agua.
