NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
Wednesday, April 15, 2026 – 6:00 PM, Mabton Council Chambers,
305 Main Street, Mabton, WA 98935
GENERAL ITEMS:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Mabton City Council will hold a special meeting at the date,
time, and location stated above, in accordance with RCW 42.30.080.
Business to be conducted includes the following:
A. Discussion of the First Quarter Financial Report
B. Discussion and Possible Action on Public Works Staffing Structure: Public Works Director
vs. Water Operator II Position and Compensation
C. Council to consider and adopt one of the following resolutions:
• Resolution 2026-17: Re-establishing the Public Works Director position and
setting compensation; OR
• Resolution 2026-17: Establishing the Water Operator II position and setting
compensation.
No other business will be conducted.
